Which are the types of plants??? Define them​

  • Plants can be divided into two groups: flowering plants, for example, sunflowers, orchids, and most types of tree. The other group is nonflowering plants, which includes mosses and ferns. All plants make their own food, taking energy from sunlight.

Types of plant

Tree:- A tall plant with a thick, hard stem called a trunk. Branching happens at a height from the ground e.g. Banyan

Creeper:- A plant with a weak stem that grows horizontally on the ground e.g. Grapevine

Shrub:- A medium sized plant with a hard, flexible stem that branches close to the ground e.g. Rose

Herb:- A short plant with a delicate, green stem. e.g. Coriander

Climber:- A plant that takes the support of neighbouring structures to grow vertically upwards e.g. Money plant.
