Indian ocean is large and expansive although the northern part of india do not border the ocean ,countries that do not border a water body are called landlocked countries .some of the landlocked countrie include uganda ,ethiopia ,eritrea ,rwanda,swaziland ,lesotho just to mention a few in africa .some of the landlocked countries have other water bodies within the country such as lakes and rivers
