hydrogen

There is only one stable atom that does not have neutrons. It is an isotope of the element hydrogen called protium. Protium, which contains a single proton and a single electron, is the simplest atom

The only element that does not have any neutrons in the nucleus is elemental hydrogen.

When it comes to elements, there are different types of the same element called isotopes.

The hydrogen isotope that has only a proton in the nucleus is called protium and this is the most common isotope of hydrogen.

The isotope with one proton and one neutron is called deuterium.

The isotope with one proton and two neutrons is called tritium.

Irrespective of the isotope, there is only one electron for hydrogen to balance the proton.

hope this helps you
