Election Commission conducts the election of Vidhan Sabha.

The Vidhan Sabha is also called the Legislative Assembly. The Election Commission elects members are above 18 years of age and directly represent the people of the state from where they are elected. Generally, the minimum number of people in Vidhan Sabha is 60 and the maximum number is 500. However, through a Parliament Act, the minimum number can be less than 59.
