Some of the most suitable examples of alkalis include Potassium Hydroxide, Sodium Hydroxide and many more. All alkalis are bases but the reverse is not always true. ✴A base is any substance that neutralizes acid. Those bases which are soluble in water are called alkalis.

A Base is a chemical which react with an acid to form salt and water only

And therefore soluble in water those which are not soluble in water are called alkalies

Eg.Bases like NaOH KOH etc
