Which bird has two legs, two hands, two wings and can fly?

This is an unnamed migratory bird that flies to the extreme border of the earth.  Unfortunately, prior to its discovery, it can’t manage to go back home and dies prematurely before mating with its partner.  In time, its partner also dies, bears nothing but a skeleton yet to be discovered by scientists.
