The followers of khashi religion prefer worshiping or believing in the power of all living organisms. So the tribe plays a strong inclination towards birds, insects, human beings and other living organisms.

They are basically an ethnic group from the north eastern part of India.

Each tribe has its own form of beliefs, religion etc. They believe much on the power of earth, earthly burial etc. This tribe believes that birds are an important part of existence of living beings.

Hence birds play a very important part in the religion of the Khasis.

Answer: The correct answer is a ROOSTER.

Explanation:

Khasi tribe, is an indigenous ethnic group of Meghalaya, a state of North-eastern India. They are otherwise referred to as Khasi Pahris, Khuchia, Kassi, Khashi and Khasa.

According to Khasi belief, when the communication with God severed due to human behaviour, a rooster came forward and volunteered in order to seek forgiveness on behalf of the entire clan. The rooster pleaded and pleased God with his sincere prayers.

Since, the rooster did not leave the righteous path, it is regarded with high esteem in Khasi culture.

Hope it helps!
