the heart is known as the blood bank because it purify the blood .it always deals with blood but the blood is no his(heart) .it has limited supply of blood for it self.

spleen is the body organ which act as a blood bank this is because spleens blood reserve can be valuable in case of hemorrhagic shocks hemorrhagic shock occur when the body begins to shut down due to large amounts of blood loss.
