Hey there!
Any maths book will be good for you if you practice, the same book will not be that helpful if you choose to keep it on one corner of your bookrack. It totally depends on how good you are and how clear your concept is on the topic.
However, If you are an avid reader and want to know about some reference books. I would suggest-
1. Clear your concepts from Maths NCERT (It's the best to clear doubts and concept regarding any topic)
2. Practice some questions from R.S. Agarwal
3. If you have time and you want to practice some complex questions, refer R.D. Sharma.
4. Don't keep these books once you buy them. Practice questions.
There are million other books to read and practice from, It totally depends on how much interested you are! :)
(Note- I know some of you might've got better options in your mind but DON'T unnecessarily comment. The question is answered. I expect you not to post irrelevant comments.)
Good Luck! :)

To get good marks u need to practice more and more in maths. Firstly complete practice of ur ncert book with all the examples , exercises and theorems. Then do different types of ques which will be available in RD Sharma book. Then solve different types of que papers. I guess that this much will give u sufficient practice for ur exam.
All the best for ur exams. : )
