I think if you are asking for boards then strictly ncert and if you want some allaboration then you must go through with modern ABC.

HC Verma for semiconductor... I don't think it is good idea
Because I want a reading matter not question matter
oh okay. But the questions for short answer section gives a good grasp of the concepts.
