Well, as question does not have clarity and its a science question .
I am considering a situation where a tall candle and a short candle is used to test /show the convection of hot air.
Apparatus required :
Two candles- one short and the other tall, glass tumbler.
Procedure :
light two candles and invert a glass tumbler.
Observation :
We observe that tall candles goes out first.
The flames consume oxygen and produce CO2.
The produced air is Hot so it is les dense than the cold air.
Hence CO2 rises to the top and putss off the candle.
The convection made the cold air to sank down.
The remaining O2 in the cold air is used by the short candle.When oxygen is used up then the short candles also stops burning.
