Celstial bodies are the bodies which are seen in the universe. There are 8 planets in total in our solar system. Earlier there were 9 because of pluto. Mercury, venus, earth, mars, jupiter, saturn, uranus, neptune. You can remember this as my very efficient mother just served us nuts. An asteroid belt is found between mars and jupiter. The difference between stars and planets is that stars are smaller than planets, and they are far from earth but the planets are closer. Sun is the largest star.

Answer:
- The Solar System is the gravitationally bound system of the Sun and the objects that orbit it, either directly or indirectly. Of the objects that orbit the Sun directly, the largest are the eight planets, with the remainder being smaller objects, the dwarf planets and small Solar System bodies.
- The main difference between stars and planets is that stars have high temperatures compared to planets. Stars undergo nuclear reactions usually they burn hydrogen in their cores, releasing massive amounts of energy. In order to be hot enough for these reactions to take place, stars need to be extremely big.
