Lysosome is the cell housekeeper organelle. They are membrance- bound vesicles that contain digestive (hydrolytic) enzyms like acid hydrolase. They are called as "suicide- bags" of cells. They digest macromolecules by phagocytosis, endocytosis, or autophagy. They also participate un auto- cell lysis. They arises from golgi body.
