Anaphase is the phase of the cell division which occurs after metaphase and before telophase

Explanation:

  • Cell division is of two types. They are meiosis and mitosis.
  • In case of anaphase there is splitting of of the chromosome
  • the splitting of the chromosome takes place in the centromere part of the chromosome. Due to the division of the centromere two different sister chromatids are formed. The systematics starts moving towards the opposite pole.
