  • Thalassemia is inherited by blood tissue disorder which is characterized by abnormal hemoglobin production.
  • Beta thalassemia is caused due to mutation in the genes on chromosome-11.
  • There may be bone problems, an enlarged spleens, yellowish skin and dark urine etc..,
  • Alpha thalassemia have no symptoms and no treatment and occurs when body producing alpha globin.
