Which combination we prefer For domestic circuit parallel or series give reason

parallel resistors are prefered for domestic circuit. The reasons are:-
1) All the domestic appliances works on the supply voltage. Hence it is obvious to use a parallel connection, otherwise voltage requirement wouldn't be met.You don't want the whole house to go down because of a faulty appliance, that's what happens when you use series circuit.Wiring in parallel is easier, less complicated and cost effective too.
