Which connection we prefer for domestic circuit, parallel or series give reason

Parallel circuit connections are preferred as-
~ Current is distributed according to the resistance; so a microwave and a changing point will draw more and less current respectively
~ In parallels if one appliance gets fused or damaged the entire circuit does not stop functioning. As separate wires join each appliance from the power source and the flow of current isn’t broken.
~parallel circuits can cater to the requirements of devices with various potential differences and has less damage issues.
