Unlike other groups or associations of countries the BRICS group of countries is not a continental or territorial group , rather it's a collection of developing countries which had same ideologies several years ago during its establishment. As you see BRICS is Brazil Russia India China South Africa and all of them are countries of different continents so there's nothing like continent members in case of BRICS like the ASEAN
