good afternoon________________✌️✌️
_______answer (a) motor ___________________________________________________
It is built to function based on Fleming’s Left Hand Rule
Where the stator’s magnetic fields intersect the coils attached to the rotor (I'm using the brushed motor as an example) in perpendicular. When current runs through the coil, Force is induced. Because the motor is designed to only move in rotation (due to a centre pivot), the force would becomes Torque (apologies if that isn't worded well enough).
