The navies of China and the Association of Southeast Asian Nations(ASEAN)  held their first joint field exercise  on 22nd October 2018 off the coast of southern China.

The field training exercise, co-organized by the navies of China and Singapore which also involved naval ships from China, the Philippines, Singapore, Thailand and Vietnam.
