On 29 August 2014 Ecuador unveiled plans to issue world's first digital currency (Sistema de Dinero Electronic)
It is small South American country situated in the Andes, between Peru and Colombia.
Central Bank of Ecuador issued the digital currency.
This new digital currency was approved by Ecuador national assembly in July 2014.
The people can use this currency to pay for public services like taxes as well taxi services .
