Norway,the land of the midnight sun, is called so because the northern part of the country is located above the artic circle, where the sun shines 24 hours a day from Mid-May to Mid-July.

In the biggest city in northern Norway, Tromsø, the sun doesn't set for two whole months. This is what midnight looks like in the summer in Tromso.
