Answer:

There are 5 criteria to classify organisms of the living world into categories :-

1. Cellular structure

organisms with not well defined cellular structure say, undefined nucleus and lack membrane bound organelles are called prokaryotes Where are organisms with well defined nucleus and membrane bound organelles are called eukaryotes. All the prokaryotes are kept under Kingdom Monera.

2. Number of cells

now all the Eukaryotic organisms are further divided on the basis of their number of cells.basically there is two kind of categorisation on the basis of number of cell that is unicellular and multicellular. All the eukaryotes, unicellular and multicellular are kept in the Kingdom Protista and fungi as well.

3. mode of nutrition

else other organisms are separated on the basis of their mode of nutrition they follow. Fungi follow saprophytic mode of nutrition, plants follow autotrophic mode of nutrition and animals follow heterotrophic modes of nutrition. this give rise to the three different kingdoms.

4. level of organisation

organisms of kingdom animalia and kingdom plantae further divided on the basis of their level of organisation. plants have tissue level of organisation where as animal have so advanced body structure.

5. skeletal system

all the other organisms of kingdom animalia differentiated on the basis of having different kind of a skeletal system
