Plants are mainly classified on the basis of their body design. Like Thallophyta in which body is not differentiated into root, stem and leaves , In Bryophyta body is differentiated into root like structure called rhizoids and it's leaf like structure, there are no vascular tissues. In Pteridophytes body is differentiated into root stem and leaves with vascular tissues but no existence of flowers. In flowering plants it also divided into gymnosperms and angiosperms on the basis of its seed . In gymnosperms seeds are naked and in angiosperms seeds are enclosed in fruit.
