Which dam has to be stronger, one that must hold back 100 000 m3 of 10-m-deep water or one that must hold back 1000 m3 of 20-m-deep water? Please include the formula that is used, because I already know the final answer, but I can't get to it myself.

Answer:

the one with 20m deep Water

Explanation:

the one with 20m deep water.

As we go deep in Water the pressure increases

(P=h *rho*g).

So the dam with Water at 20m deep will face more Pressure from the water.
