Secondary data generally have a pre-established degree of validity and reliabilitywhich need not be re-examined by the researcher who is re-using such data.Secondary data can provide a baseline for primary research to compare the collected primary data results to and it can also be helpful in research design.

*it takes all the factors of development like average income, life expectancy, literacy rate, health education, etc.
*but the data released by the world bank only takes the average income for comparing the development of various nations.
* average income or per capita income is not the sole indicator of development as there are various other factors of development.
