Secondary data generally have a pre-established degree of validity and reliabilitywhich need not be re-examined by the researcher who is re-using such data.Secondary data can provide a baseline for primary research to compare the collected primary data results to and it can also be helpful in research design.

The data released by the UNDP( UNITED NATIONS DEVELOPMENT PROGRAMME) is more reliable than world bank because:

*it takes all the factors of development like average income, life expectancy, literacy rate, health education, etc.

*but the data released by the world bank only takes the average income for comparing the development of various nations.

* average income or per capita income is not the sole indicator of development as there are various other factors of development.
