ANSWER

Anemia is one disease that is caused by iron deficiency.

CHARACTERISTICS

  • Lack of healthy red blood cells due to low iron content.
  • Red blood cells may become low in a protein called hemoglobin.
  • Hemoglobin carries oxygen to the cells.
  • Lack of Hemoglobin results in lack of oxygen.
  • Lack of oxygen damages internal organs, especially the lungs.
  • Eventually leads to suffocation.

It's normal to feel tired after a long day at work or a heavy exercise session.

When you're anemic, you feel tired after every tiny exertion.

IT'S CURE

Eating an overall healthy diet.

  • Rich in dark, leafy greens
  • Nuts, seafood and beans can help you get the iron you body needs.

 \huge{ \bold \green{ \red{ \underline{ \mid{ \overline{Anaemia}}}}}}

Symptoms- Loss of appetite and weakness.

━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━

What is the cause?

♦️Our blood Contains Haemoglobin, which is made uo pf two parts :- Heme and Globin.

Where,

 \large{ \tt{heme \rightarrow \:   \begin{cases} \:  \tt{ \red{protoporphyrin}} \\ \tt{ \red{iron}} \:  \end{cases}}}

And, Globin is protein which keeps Haemoglobin in liquefied form.

♦️In the attachment, Structure of Haemoglobin molecule

☛When, the body DON'T get appropriate amount of iron, It can't produce heme in require amount and thus ,it can't also produce Haemoglobin( It binds with O2). This results in Microcytic Anaemia.

Due to lack of Haemoglobin, the Oxygen cannot be transported to different internal organs, thus they will not function properly. This leads to weakness and eventually if it is increased then death.......!!!!!!

━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━

How to prevent?

☛For obtaining proper amount of iron( as it helps in the formation of haemoglobin and myoglobin) , our diet must include :-

 \large{ \tt{iron \: rich \: diet \rightarrow \begin{cases} \tt{ \blue{egg \: yolk}} \\  \tt{ \blue{whole \: meal \: bread }}\\  \tt{ \blue{bajra}}  \\  \tt{ \blue{ragi }}\\   \tt{ \blue{apple}} \\  \tt{ \blue{banana}} \\   \tt{\blue{ \green \: leafy \: vegetables}} \\  \tt{ \blue{jaggery}}...etc \end{cases}}}

♦️As Iron is an mineral, related info about minerals.

☘ There are atleast 60 minerals that can be found in our body and atleast 22 are very good for health.

☘Minerals make up 4% of the body weight and helps in many functions like digestion, heart function, Bone formation etc.

☘Minerals can be divided into two categories:

  • Macrominerals
  • Microminerals/ Trace minerals.
