The paradox of Automation-

1. Automated systems have made the life of human beings effortless and hurdle-free as the automated systems enable them to do the work automatically.

2. Technology has allowed the birth of automated systems to decrease the risk of human errors.

3. The paradox of Automation says that as automated work increases the input of human beings also increases. If there is an error in the automated system, the error keeps on increasing at a multiplying rate. The human contribution is required at that stage.

Answer:

Paradox of Automation

Explanation:

The Paradox of Automation says that "the more efficient the automated system is, the more crucial the human contribution of the operators". Lesser the humans are involved, more their involvement becomes critical.

If an automated system has an error, it will keep multiplying that error until it’s fixed or shut down. This is where human operators are needed.

Efficient Automation makes humans more important, not less.
