1. The process shown in the figure is clearly 'pollen tube germination' which can be understood by observing the gradual increase in pollen tube from 1st to 3rd image.
2. Pollen tube germination is a process followed by germination in flowering plants. In this process the tube cell elongates and grows down into style of the flower towards the ovule present in the ovary.
3. Once pollen tube enters the ovule, the process of fertilization starts. Furthermore the double fertilization takes place.
