Explanation:

Two types of movement are seen in plants called nastic movement and tropic movement.

Nastic movement-

When external stimuli causes movement in plants are called nastic movement.

This type of movement is reversible and repeated in response to the external stimuli.

Nastic movement are categorized into 2 types-Photo nasty and nyctinasty.

Example-This type of movement is seen in diurnal movement of leaves,Response of insectivorous plants.

Tropic movement-

This is the movement of plant organism towards or away from the stimuli.

Example-The movement of plant shoot towards light.This phenomena is called as phototropism.
