The dosage form prepared from rice paper that is made by pouring a mixture of rice flour and water is called cachet.

Cachets are particular disk-shaped wafers or capsules that enclose, within themselves, a dose of medicine, i.e. the medicines are put inside the cachet. There are 2 main types of cachet, wet seal cachets and dry seal cachets.
