Compass needles function as a little bar magnet; when they are conveyed close to another bar magnet the like poles will wind up repulsing, as the needle will be redirected.

A deflection is seen in the galvanometer because of the instigated current in view of the expansion in attractive transition through the turns of the coil connected with the galvanometer.

No deflection is seen in the galvanometer. The flux connected with the loop because of the attractive field is at a consistent. Thus no current is induced because of the bar magnet.
