Which element forms compounds with all compounds except helium, neon, and argon?
Answers
Carbon is a universal compound it form bond with all elements expect noble gases and platinum or gold.
Noble gases because they complete octet of 8 electrons in their outer most shell expect helium which has only 2 electrons in its outermost shell but it is also a inert gas or noble gas because it's outermost shell is complete because first shell has only 2 electrons capacity.
Now, gold and platinum they are least reactive metal in modern periodic table, they only react in aqua regia.Gold and Platinum take lot of time to corrode, due to this property we use gold in jewellery and platinum in blades, but this elements are heavier which are form after lot of time. Therefore, they are less quantity, due to this they are expensive and less in quantity.
