Nitrogen" is an essential element that is very important in the meristematic tissues of the plant. Meristematic tissues are tissues which contain continuously proliferation undifferentiated cells. Nitrogen forms a part of "nucleic acids" and "protein" in our cells which helps in passing the parent characters to the offspring. These tissues helps in the growth of various new organs. Hence, a proliferative tissue needs more of nitrogen.
