Ga has a low melting point which is due to the fact that it consists of only Gs2 molecules. it remains liquid upto 2000°C and hence is used in high temperature thermometry.

Hey mate,

The correct answer is gallium.

Because in thermometer we need gallium as they have the point for marking the melting point.

They have high tendency to whitstand high temperatures.

Hope this helps you out!
