The period that existed before Babylonian empire in Mesopotamia is Assyrian Period. The history of this period is known very less. Tudiya was the first king of that period. There was a trading post known as The leviat and expect the trading activities and a little about king nothing is known about this empire.

Heya,
Before babylonian empire in Mesopotamia Assyrian empire was exisiting there. The earliest king of this empire was Tudya. He ruled Mesopotamia from 2450 BC — 2400 BC . Ushpia the last but one emperor is said to be the founder of temple of Ashur is assur.
