Given :  Graph  showing a straight line

To Find : equation  represented by graph

y = 2x

y = (1/2)x

y = (1/2) + x

y = 2 + x

Solution:

y = mx  + c   is equation of straight line

at x = 0 , y = 0

=> 0 = 0 + c

=> c = 0

y = mx + 0

=>  y   = mx

at  x= 1 , y = 2

=> 2 =  m (1)

=> m =  2

=> y  = 2 x
