Given : y = -6x² + 3x + 2

To Find : rewrite in vertex form

Solution:

y = -6x² + 3x + 2

=> y = - 6(x²  - x/2)   +  2

=> y = - 6(x²  -  x/2  + (1/4)²) + 6(1/4)² +  2

=> y = - 6(x   -  1/4)²  +  3/8 +  2

=> y = - 6(x   -  1/4)²   + 19/8

y = -6x² + 3x + 2

y = - 6(x   -  1/4)²   + 19/8
