y=4/x

First of all, you should know that:

 direct variation:

 y = c * x

 Inverse variation:

 y = c / x

 where, c is any number that belongs to the real ones.

 answer:

 An equation that represents an inverse variation is

inverse variation is defined as product of two variables equals to Constant

suppose x and y be the two variables.

  • variables is one whose value may change
  • constant is one whose value does not change( take C as constant )

Meyhmetical form

xy = C

y = C /x

In option

C = 4

so

Inverse veriation

Y = 4/x

Option C
