2. Put the Bunsen burner below the beaker and place the beaker in a wire gauze.
3. Fix a thermometer in the beaker .

For determining the melting point of ice take ice in the beaker and a thermometer. Take this set up for minutes until the whole ice melts and we see after the melting of whole ice the thermometer indicates the temperature is equal to the temperature of Melting point of the ice...
