Chorioallantois: The membrane or vascular envelope around some amniote embryos formed by fusion of mesoderm from the chorion and allantois. Chorion: The outer of the double memrane that surrounds the embryo of reptiles, birds, and mammals; in mammals it contributes to the placenta.
