   It's obvious to say that excessive or less of anything is dangerous and so it    is the case with soil and rain as well. If rainfall is too high it would lead to floods and would take away the most nutritious layers of soil leading to degradation of soil.

Air erosion: it is the same case with the air , if wind is blowing faster then the same happens with time Erosion takes place

This nutritious layer of soil is called "Top Soil"
