Organisational structure clearly defines the job positions, the responsibilities of each jobs and also the authority that needs to be attached to each job position. This provides a basis for managers and other employees to perform their functions efficiently and effectively without any confusions. Organisational structure also facilitates the work flow in the organisation and is therefore regarded as a pre-requisite of efficient management.
