Which factor is common in 6(x + 1)(x + 2) and (x^3+ 1)?

Answer:

(x^3+1)=(x^3+1^3)=(x+1)(x^2+1^2-x)=(x+1)(x^2+1-x)

so, (x+1) is the common factor.
