Which factor will have a greater effect on the kinetic energy of the object doubling its mass or doubling its velocity

Velocity as the formula is 1/2 m vsq.

Thus if velocity is doubled kinetic energy will be greatly affected

Answer=doubling it's velocity

Reason=Kinetic energy is directly proportional to square of velocity

so, if you double the mass it will become two times but if you double the velocity it will become 4 times
