★ Indian National movement :
The formation of Indian National Congress is marked in 1885 under the Indian National movement . The leader was Allan Octavian Hume who gave strength to political consequences and the Presidential role was taken by WC Bonnerjee .
★ Factors that led to Indian National movement :
- Socio-economic changes : As the control British increase day by day ; the national consciousness lead to formation of associations and people realise that British was there only to exploit for their benefit.
- Industrial Revolution : It raised the hope for modernization but in vain .
- Introduction of Judiciary : They were in hope of equality but were denied .
