Socialization is an individual's entire life-long process. Some social sciences believe that socialization reflects the process of lifelong learning &is a profound influence on children and adults attitudes, beliefs, actions, values and behavior.

- The process of socialisation can be split into primary and secondary socialization. The primary socialisation is where an infant learns the individual's behaviors, beliefs, actions, values and attitudes as members of a given community. This is largely influenced by friends and family instantly.
- Secondary socialisation is the process of discovering what is the best action as a smaller group in society. It is the behavioural patterns which is reinforced by socialising agents of society such as workplaces & schools. - There is no greater way to begin than to consider the family's role as the most powerful factor of socialisation in a person's social development. We are totally reliant on them as infants to survive. Our "parents or guardians" are in charge of teaching us to work and take care of ourselves. They show us, together with the rest of our families, in what way to share resources & in what way to invest in close relationships. They also give us our first set of norms, values, actions, & beliefs – typically reflecting your own socioeconomic class, ethnicity, racial background and more.
- The school is the next big factor in socializing children. The primary aim of the school is, of course, to transfer the knowledge from subjects and to teach "life skills", including following directions and hitting time limits. Nevertheless, pupils are not only hearing from"teachers & school administrators" writing instructional curricula. We also develop social skills in school through our interactions with students, administrators and other students. For one, we know the value of compliance and obeying authority that in order to excel in obedience, we have to learn to be quiet, wait & even act interested even when we are not involved.
- Our peer community is also another socializing tool for education. In comparison to the agents that we addressed before-family and school – peer groups give us the opportunity to develop ties with others in our own right as children, and to experience information without being directed by an adult. We should understand how our parents think for the sort of mates that we want. Once we are old, they have an enormous impact on us. Also, we discuss subjects and hear from our classmates on behavioral norm, which our parents do not consent to.
