Prokaryotic cells don't have a well defined nucleus so, they are called incipients or nucleoid. They contain only a single length of only DNA( Deoxyribonucleic acid). Their DNA is not covered by Histonee. They don't contain any cell organelles or cytoplasmic inclusions except small ribosomes which are of 70-S types.
For example, Bacteria, Blue green algae(Cynobacteria).
