Most of the plants are preparing their food by the photosynthesis process.

It is the process by that the glucose is prepared in the presence of water, sunlight, carbon dioxide, and chlorophyll.

The plant parts contain the pigment that absorbs the solar energy from the sun.

The oxygen is released from the plant. The plant absorbs the carbon dioxide to produce the glucose.

The glucose is translocated to the plant parts as the food for nutrition.
