Geysers are deifnitely formed after any volcanic activity.
Below the earth's surface, the water turns hot, and then it turns less dense.
It further comes on to the surface and then cracks.
The feature is also known as dynic volcano. And the last stage is forming of the magma, cooling of it, and then becoming hard.
